A spokesperson from Hyundai did state that the company will measure "global top 3" EV sales goals by including both passenger cars and commercial vehicles from all of its three brands, namely Hyundai, Kia & Genesis. The spokesperson also stated that the company will offer a range of 30 EV models by 2030.

As per reports, Hyundai Motor Group plans to sell around 3.6 million EVs worldwide by 2030. To put it into perspective, in 2022, HMG's total sales tallied 3.9 million vehicles, which included all powertrain types. The Group expects its sales to be 4.3 million vehicles in 2023.
