When it was first unveiled this car was rumoured to be supercar competing with the likes of GT-R and NSX, but Lexus recently stated that this car will be slotted below IS!

Edit: Damn! Just went back to edmunds site to look for the above piece of news and couldn't find it. They now say it will have V10.
But I am pretty sure I read a news report in edmunds which stated that LF-A will be slotted below IS.

Yea, the pics came out nice. was gifted a Nikon SLR and I was in josh that day.
The specs are not finalized yet and Lexus is least bothered about Supercar race. They want to capture the mid level market. Somehow "Lexus and Performance" sounds strange to me. But again thats me!

The Lexus LF-A looks awesome in flesh. The engineering is mind-boggling.

Yes, those pictures are those of the concept car. See the actual car pictures below. These were taken a couple of weeks back at the Dubai Motor Show.

You know, it's funny! But this car strongly reminds me of Ford's shelved concept, the GT90! Google images and you'll see what I mean!

That roof line does indeed look like it's been lifted of a 350Z but lest we forget, the roof line of a 350Z draws inspiration from Porsche's 911!

ummm... 350z draws inspiration from earlier z cars starting from 1969 and they always had that sloping roof line.

True but to an extent! The Nissan S30/Datsun 240Z does lend it's elements to te current 370Z, but the iconic design cues present in various cars such as the Beetle, the VW Karmann Ghia T-14 and then the 911, have leaked into the portfolios of designers of other car makers as well! And this includes the S30/240Z!

Anyway, we're veering terribly off topic! Sorry!
