New Mitsubishi Eclipse

The 2005 Eclipse is here showing off Mitsubishi's committment to innovation and functional design. Both the GS and GT come with MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Variable timing and lift Electronic Control). GT comes with a 260hp 3.8Ltr 24 valve engine.

wow! I love it! I'm happy to see the Eclipse is back to looking the way it should! The outgoing model is a terrible piece of design!

With this, it seems they are sure to continue selling in huge numbers in the US.

BTW, what engine does the base model have?

Mitsubishi is already in deep trouble...and the way its new models look, doesnt look like the company is ever going to get back to the healthy dates.

Shame, cos the previous gen Eclipse' were wonderful cars. I have had some stints behind the turbo and boy, it was a blast to drive.

IMO, the previous generation Eclipses` look much better. The last generation Eclipse was the purple convertible in 2Fast 2Furious and the previous generation to that was the Green one in Fast and the Furious. Those designs were really good but this....mmmmm!!

PS: The second pic reminds me of the TT.

Ummm...... Not a great looker.... somehow i prefer the old gen Eclipse.
yeah SS, the top view does resemble the 911.

Pretty average styling.Its more of a mix-n-match.Wonder wot Mitubishi was thinking!!!
