MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi made his first outing in a Ferrari Formula One car and immediately impressed the team, reportedly lapping the Fiorano test circuit in 59 seconds.

Although it must have been mentioned, once again :
21st April 1985
Ayrton Senna won the Portuguese Grand Prix to take the first Formula One victory.

Today in 1920, Jujiro Matsuda formed Toyo Cork Kogyo, a business that made cork, in Hiroshima, Japan. After a decade the company produced its first automobile and eventually was named Mazda.
