Nothin Civic about this fella'!!!

Here are the pics of the 2006 Civic concept. i wouldn't call it beautiful, but it's definately the most radical looking Honda, barring the HSC.

The Civic Si Concept celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Civic Si legacy in the U.S. and builds on its performance heritage with a 200-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm red line, mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type limited slip differential for improved launch traction and cornering performance. Other performance features of the Civic Si Concept include 18-inch cast aluminum wheels, 225/40R18 high performance tires and 4-wheel disc brakes with large cross-drilled brake rotors and 4-piston Brembo calipers.

"The 2006 Civic Si Coupe will be the most powerful, fastest and fun-to-drive Si we’ve ever put on the street, and the Civic Si Concept sets the direction in terms of its styling, package and performance," said John Mendel, senior vice president of American Honda.

"It’s part of a new family of Civic vehicles that build on the already class-leading values of the Civic in terms of safety, styling, performance and fuel efficiency." read more.....

That front end looks like a fusion between the "New Shape Accord" grille and "old shape accord" headlights. I knew about platform sharing, but this is the height!

I'd rather say a cross between the new Accord from the front and the NHC from the rear. What say GTO?

Yes, and i'm sure they'll make it even better by the time they launch it.

No matter what but my favourite Civic will be the 1999 Civic .... If you have internal and external mods then that car is a killer man in looks and also performance.
Thats why i love 1.5/Vtec rear end.

I don't get it man... the Coupe looks like something eve the cat wouldn't bring in, and then we have this... I must say, thee rear looks decent, but vould definitely do with an upgrade... I like the exhaust pipe though.
The front... well, hmmm... No. It can be much better. Honda have gone overboard trying to spill Acura (namely thee RS-X concept) styling into the Honda Brand. Smart, but they've got to adapt it. It doesn't suit the car.
Sad to say, but it looks like Honda are shifting back to mediocre design... I hope they do something about it, and quick!!
