Its strange some people spend such obscene amounts of money on a number plate. Its the same here in England. Recently the ownner of Kahn Automotive Designs (who design the achingly beautiful Kahn Range Rovers) bought the plate ' F1 ' for about £450,000 (Rs 3.6 Crore)..then there's 'A1' and 'X1' on offer for an astonoshing £500,000...Dunno whats wrong with people!! I guess more money than brains!!

Not justifying their spending on the plate, but if they didn't have brains, they would never have been able to afford it in the first place.

True..but they aint using it in the right way are they? Earning money is one thing, spending it rightly is another.
Usually people who spend money on personal plates are show offs/self obsessed weeners! There was a survey done some time ago in which some people in England did not want to live next to neighbors who owned cars with personal plates as they were regarded as cheap, new money show offs.

I've seen some decent private plates for less than a thousand quid. I'd definitely consider some of them as long as they were relevant to me in some way.

well thats because one says 7million Sterling Pounds, whereas the other one says 14 million US Dollars. On conversion its nearly the same actually.

I saw this news and was mind blown. Meanwhile I saw a plate reading "4 MY EGO" here in Queensland, Australia selling on Facebook Marketplace for A$100,000 and was wondering who would pay so much for it.

I stand corrected, clearly.
