Is it a Jeep? Is it a Ferrari? No, it's a Jerrari!!

There’s been lots of chat recently about whether Ferrari would build an SUV to take on the likes or Porsche Cayenne, but what we didn’t realise is that someone had already beaten them to it. Possibly one of the weirdest car creations ever, this is a ‘Jerrari’ – a 1969 Jeep Wagoneer mixed with a Ferrari 365-GT.

The story goes that Enzo Ferrari refused well-known car collector Bill Harrah’s request to build him a four-wheel drive Prancing Horse.

Undeterred and possibly hoping to teach mean old Enzo a lesson, Harrah went and built his own out of a Jeep and the front-end of a smashed up Ferrari.

Apparently the car did once have a Ferrari V12 but now has to make do with a 350ci V8.

The only clue to its Jeep origins is the ‘J’ in the ‘Jerrari’ badge…and the Jeep body from A-pillar back.
