Edo Competition Gallardo Superleggera

Everyone check out the new Edo Competition Gallardo Superleggera.

I have always felt that Edo go a bit too much in tuning some cars that would be fine without it. But hey the thirst for more power never ends!!

The most remarkable feature is the sensational acceleration. 0-100 Km/hr in 3.7 seconds! These figures are acheived thanks to the installation of a massive air box, high flow catalytic converters which are a completely new design and a recalibration of the engine electronics. All components together raise the power output to 560 hp (411 kW) at 8,250 rpm. The power increase of 30 hp / 22 kW boosts the top speed by about 6 km/h (4 mph) to 320 km/h (199 mph).Another highlight: The sound volume of the modified exhaust system can be adjusted via remote.

The sporty concept of the edo Gallardo Superleggera is rounded off with 19“ three-piece racing wheels with an artificially-aged cast center-section, hand-polished outer rims and 39 stainless steel screws.

Well EDO has tuned everything from Carerra GTs to the Maseratti MC12. Though i never see a significant body modification on their cars.

Ummm.. i think this part got left out!

The wheels look exactly the same as they are on the "stock" superleg.

This is good. Especially as this comes with a power increase.
Looks good in this color also.

Yes you are right Rehaan! I forgot to put "optional" in front of the description for the alloys. The 19" three piece alloys are an option which Edo provide. The pics show the car with the stock alloys.

The Info and Pics have been taken from the Edo website.

Superleggera's are such beautiful cars, i saw the same color in a dealership here and wow, it was breathtaking. I would particularly go with Edo in this case but heff to throw in some serious power but, G SL's are the best supercar bargains of this decade considering how they are priced now, esp after LP560 reaches the market..
