Tis the WRC car you speak of sir....
Cutout near the front is for the air that has entered the front bumper and passed through the intercooler, and the hoodscoop is straight to the air filter. (It is however a different setup in the WRX though)
I managed to take a peek under the hood as well...that engine sits so low!! will post pics later, althouh aah78 has covered almost everything!

Damn!!! Awesome lineup of cars there Advait. Great pics too.

The Rovers look totally pimped out... but neat. MkIV GTis... umm... isn't that the reason why most of the US is stuck on GSM while the world is heading towards 3G...

The Ford GT special edition is looking good, but i dunno how many of them will make it to the market. Never understood why the GT had to have a production run of just 1500 in the first place. Ford could really have killed the 360 and company if they wanted to.

Scooby should now be renamed to Scoopy?

Great shots! Supercars aside, I love to see ordinary saloon's and hatchbacks. Maybe because there is a faint possibility of actually getting to drive some of those in India one day. So do post some more of the "vanilla" cars as well!

I like that pic of the new Eclipse. Although many don't like the new design, I love it. That, and the black/red wheel/caliper combo on the GT. wow!

the USA is miles behind as regards technology - the rest of the world is way ahead. forget 3G, GSM itself has just become popular in the last couple of years. cell services using out-dated TDMA & CDMA technology are still going strong. we're lucky to see the MkIV GTi here

thanks! i got so engrossed in taking pictures of the executive, concept & sport classes - i have to confess that i kind-of ignored the common (vanilla) cars. i would have photographed everything but unfortunately i was running a little short on time.

i will put up pictures of the cars i did photograph (the ones i haven't already posted) soon - hopefully tonite.
