So I was driving down Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood and I see something bright and orange from the corner of my eye. I turn and look and its a Gumpert Apollo!!!!

This is probably the only one in LA and probably one of the very very few in the country. I couldn't believe I got to see this.
I was so excited that I turned around went into the parking lot and took some very quick pics. I could not get out of the car and take better pics as the lot was full and people were behind me getting annoyed because I was waiting.

Apparently not a whole lot of people know about these and when I mentioned to my buddy I saw a Gumpert Apollo today, he says to me "Ganpat what?". I had to bluntly remind him that I was not talking about a rickshaw company from Kolhapur.

I checked out the website on the Euro plates and it turns out the car is owned by a dealer of exotic cars, I think he is just starting out and the car is on sale for $600k.

That is supposed to be the only one in North America. It is the same one which I have posted in the Gumball 3000 Rally from SFO - Beijing. During the rally it was black, I wonder if the owner got a new paint job.

Any idea which one was it..??? Base(650bhp) model or the SPORT(700bhp) or RACE(800bhp) version.

Top gear got that car to test and they got the middle variant that scorched the track for a 2nd best lap time. Wonder what the 800bhp one would have done.

No it isnt. I remember talking to the owner who purposely has imported the Gumpert so as to start a dealership. Plus, it has the same registration.

Yea its the same one in black. MRMOTA COM thats the registration on the gumball one as well as this one. IF that is really the reg.

To be honest I don't know, I was there for no more than 2 mins.

That is not a registration, those are custom Euro plates.

This could be a second one because if you check mrmota.com and look for a Gumpert 2 show up. Also I don't think anyone would repaint the car.

The car was drawing a lot of attention, even the homeless guy that was walking there and in one of the pics was staring at it.

When I was taking pics 3 other guys were taking pics also and I have never seen any car get that much attention.
