Sharjah Motor Show

Had been to the Sharjah Motor Show yesterday. Nothing much to write about really, never the less thought I shall post some pictures. The event is rather small with dealers of a handful of brands putting up their stalls.

Mercedes had quite a line up starting with the Maybach to a Pullman and some AMGs. BMW had their new 7 series, the Phantom, their bikes and some cool Mini Coopers. Audi displayed the RS6 (launched at the show) along with the lovely R8 and TT.

The show had a nice line up of vintage cars too. There was something for everybody here form the Rolls to Rileys, Packards, Chevrolets, Land Rover and a couple of trucks. There was also one built like a tank and those with some very mystic ladies perched on top of the hood.

Nice pics Joz, anymore please do share. AMG is the only reason I look at a Merc for more than a sec.

Nice Pics..I actually gazed for a minute whollly on the AMG Merc..what a craftmanship.
Also the Mini is breath taking.

Next the Japs. But without Toyota, Honda and Mazda. So the only guys there were Nissan, Mitsubishi and Suzuki. Naturally the GTR and the Evo X was there but I skipped taking pics of these. Something disappointing which I learnt at the show was that Mitsubishi doesn't provide warranty for the Evo and the Eclipse in the middle east. I don't understand what is wrong with these guys.

Suzuki had the usual line up including the Swift, SX4 and the Alto. The only thing new was the XL7 which has a 3.6 ltr V6 motor. Also present were some interesting bikes which included the rather confusing BKing.

Amazing cars, amazing pics.

Would love to see this Eclipse in black with better and unique alloys.

The Audis look damn good. Am a big fan of the R8.

Did you have any C63 AMGs there?

Last set of pics. Some from the GM stall and some modifications done by a company called 'ibex'. Look what they did to the CLS! Also in there is a Hamann Mini.

There was also a Hummer offroad track set up outside, but that wasn't ready when i got there.

Great photos, some well restored classics. Hey bud 1 quick question, do they sell the Eclipse in UAE, cos I am located in Bahrain and the dealer here does not stock or sell it.

Detoxing has it's effects it seems.

It maybe an average show for those who have been to UAE. But for many, this show and pics posted here will be a treasure.
