Honda S800!!!

The Honda S800 can probably be called the S2000's grand dad. One of the first "S" series from Honda. Launched way back in 1965, this puny 791cc, water cooled "DOHC" engine could revv, all the way to 8500 rpm and, produced 70bhp at around 8000 rpm.

Even with it's "not so aerodynamic body" it had a top speed of 160kmph, thanks to it's 710kg kerb weight which gave it a power to weight ratio of 98.59 bhp/ton. As much as a Baleno does today.

This is one car, i'd like to get my hands on.

Shantanu, for guys like us, power-to-weight ratio wouldn't remain quite the same after we would get behind the wheel.

But, the concept of an entertaining car was so much simpler in the olden days...pah...
