Ces 2009!!

Hello MotorHeads,

Being in India we dont generally an opportunity to visit something as Extravagant as the CES 2009. So

here is some FYI from the internet searches and thirst for something Bigger, Newer, Better etc.

The International CES is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the preeminent trade

association promoting growth in the consumer technology industry. CEA represents more than 2,200

corporate members involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of

consumer electronics products.

Well while its more of a Tech Expo than a Motor Show, it has its share of new launches and modded/concept

cars. Not to forget car electronics and ICE products.

2009 International CES, January 8-11

CES 2009 has a plathora of Electronic Goods but i'll keep it to a few glimpes of the North Hall which was reserved for Car Tech.

Thanks for the info.

So CES is to ICE, what SEMA is to Modifiers.

I remember looking up ratings for a car audio amplifier and seeing the CEA rating for the first time.

Wonder if they'll ever hold it NY - I'd like to visit sometime.

ps. You really should post a link to this thread in the ICE section. Those ICE'ers, they hardly ever get out of there.
