WHOA!!!! !! Is this one of those cars built for Princes? After the pure silver A8 and the diamond-studded Merc?

Looks ASTONISHING!

It looks lovely when its seen in a dim lit environment. But it'd be a pain to see it when its moving on the road on a bright sunny day. The light getting reflected off this car would blind me for sure.

Wondering why they left the lights alone! It shouldn't have been too difficult to chrome them too!

IMO chrome paint looks good on the McLaren F1 car; not on this one.

Don't know about this one, but the A8 was well, I can't provide documentation to prove but the reason it got many people's attention was because unlike other chrome paint job (I Don't if any one has seem the picture of the Chrome 599 saudi thats being doing rounds) it was apparently an expensive metal, also it was apperantley(again in dubai all this info only comes on the basis of rumors unless someone wants it published) some member of the royal family, though not sure about the slr, the number plate seems to be to plain for it to belong to a "prince."

It's very much just a chrome job and not any kind of gold. And first appeared on Supercars Dubai forum I suspect.

That was rumoured to be pure silver. Which is ridiculous. How would that car move? But yeah I know what you're talking about. Apparently belonged to Mohammad bin Sulayem, which again isn't true.

It would move, silver is not very heavy --- but probably not very far, as it would quite likely bend in the middle when the passengers got in. Pure silver is very soft and very bendable.

Any alloy of gold would be ridiculous, weightwise; platinum would be worse.

Make mine Titanium!
