Lamborgini Murciélago LP650-4 Roadster details

Lamborghini has a new Murciélago roadster on deck that should see the light of day at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Called the LP650-4 Roadster, it goes one step beyond the LP640 Roadster with a slightly more powerful version of the company's 6.5L V12 and a look all its own.
Going with Lamborghini's naming scheme, the LP650-4 should produce 650 horsepower that's sent to all four wheels through either a manual or e.gear automatic six-speed transmission. Only 50 examples of this limited edition Lambo drop top will reportetdly be made, and the price is rumored to be north of €500,000.Here are some pics of an entire presentation that somehow found its way on the LamboCars forum.

I dont quite agree with you dude. After seeing both,I can say that the Murcielago looks much cooler than Gallardo.Personal choice.

This car looks insane.Whats the point of this car?I think it lp640's status will go down becuase of this.

Hmmm. Let's agree to disagree! I believe that the Gallardo LP560-4 is just abt the best looking modern supercar. It's achingly beautiful. That and the MAserati Gran Turismo.

Point is to make some more money off the Murcielago brand. Put in 10 more BHP to make it different from the normal version, make it a limited edition, hike up the prices to insane heights and wait for the money to start flowing in....Flawless.

Lamborghini finally revealed the special edition Murcielago LP 650-4 Roadster. It will be limited to only 50 units and the price will be around $400k.
The LP 650-4 Roadster is powered by a 6.5 litre V12 engine that produces 650 hp and a peak torque of 660 Nm. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 205mph.
On the exterior the car combines grey bodywork with a special bright orange Arancio LP 650-4 featured on the front spoiler and sills. Also the special edition is being distinguished by LP 650-4 logo applied to the car’s exterior.
On the interior continues the same grey-and-orange paint scheme with an asymmetric dash design, with black Alcantara Nera on the driver’s side, including door panel and central tunnel, and black leather Nero Perseus on the passenger’s side.

Eww. This is definately not drool worthy. And the car looks sick in this color combo. Probably if it was completely white or something, it might looks good.

I like it, but I vote against the excessive badging of the nomenclature all around the car. Lose it.

At the cost of repeating myself, Lambo should come up with something new. They have been selling the Murcielago for 8 years!!
