No they didn't. They compared the estate versions of the E63 AMG and the M5 (S10E6). The Merc won because it was more practical, comfortable, etc etc etc.

No I'm not talking about the hot estates episodes where they test those twoat night at the airport (and blow lots of stuff up), this was another one. May not have been a detailed test, may have been a small segment, but I remember the comparison, and they preferred the M5. I could be wrong, though...

Saw 13x05 yesterday.
And just as I had expected after the previous episode, Top Gear did stand their ground and I was not at all disappointed.

What an episode was that - the CO2 reduction 'attempt'

, the 'Jeag'

, the 1500 pound cheap car challenge, raining pianos, et al.

Still 2 to go and I cant wait for the torrents to come out!!!

Sadly theres gonna be just two more episode...
But the Best part is that
"What do you do to your hair" bit is gonna be in one of the two episodes.

" People who saw the First Episode and the Teaser for the series would strongly agree "

This was one good episode. I like the Bmw Z4 alot. And the splitscreen laptimes too.
The challenge with the classic cars and time trial was good too.
The SIARPC was also nice. Brian was funny. A good Lap.

Just done watching episode 6. Overall a decent episode. I quite liked the Nissan 370Z. This time the cheap car challenge was a bit different with each of the boys buying an old car from auctions and raching them in a TSD rally. Just the cars they are competing with is that rally are worth the episode alone. Old 911s, the Lancia Stratos, Stangs, even an Alpine.

And dont forget the James navigator in the TSD rally.

Jay Leno is coming on in the next (and final) episode of the season. What I'm most looking forward to is the VXR8 Barthurst to be featured in that episode. That is one properly insanely bonkers car. 530BHP, supercharged 6.2L big block V8 from the Corvette, a drifter's dream of a suspension and a factory exhaust which has a 102dB loud setting. And a cheap price tag too. What a machine...

Again? He has already appeared once (in the 10th or 11th season, i think) when he set a super-quick lap time in the wet

Don't think he is coming this season. Last I heard, his lap was postponed due to rain.

a little rewind into episode 5. I like the way JC says " tata has launched a new car and its a JAAAGG XJ". The way TATA is getting good reviews feels nice.
