2005 Suzuki Swift

The 2005 Suzuki Swift is to be shown at the paris motor show.
two petrol engines: 1.3 ltr 91bhp and 1.5ltr 102bhp.
Diesel will be 1.3ltr 70bhp version - u don't have to be a genius to know that it's Fiat's Multi-jet diesel.
the car will be avaliable in both 3 & 5 door versions.
From what i know, our esteem body shell is sold as swift in Europe/USA. So if we get the "new" esteem , why do the europeans get this sleek baby?

Great looking interiors. Compare the flimsy interiors of MUL car's with this one!

isnt this similar the Concept S that was powered by the Busa motor. Wonder how the booted version will look??

Sadly it will be atleast 2050 before Maruti get this car here. But they will launch it with the WagonR's 1.1 liter and keep it in production for 3 decades.

Sigh. MUL is really cutting the branch that they are sitting on!

Yup, Maruti needs to get newer and more advanced models. The new Esteem doesn't seem all that new to me! The new Zen looks horrible..... Why can't they get better models here in India??

Wow! Such a sweet looking car. But, as GTO said, it'll be 2050 by the time India gets this baby.
