BMW X1 breaks cover!

The little brother in the BMW X-series is finally here. And I have to say that it looks way better than the current X3 and X6. Thankfully, it does bear some semblance to the X5.

Whoa...looks like someone photoshopped the face of the new 7 on the X3.

I've given up on expecting anything beautiful from BMW now. First the X3, then the X6, and now this!!

Look how beautiful the Audi Q5 manages to be, while being a shrunk version of the Q7.

I'd say it looks better than an X3.

Which doesn't mean it looks good at all.

By the way, what kind of little underground meeting did all these german companies have, that they decided to come up with ugly, brand-deflating, heritage-puncturing mini-SUVs? Mercedes very loyally came up with the GLK, now BMW with this. Thankfully Audi screwed them over and went ahead to make a decent-looking Q5 anyway. LOL. I swear I'd pick a Scorpio refresh over a GLK.

On a personal note, BMW really needs to change their design styles for the X3 and now the X1. Now this X1 for example, reminds me to much of the Hyundai Veracruz. The should improve its looks just as they did on the 7-Series and now it really looks nice.

With the gas prices heading north, parking problems all over the world and shrinking space on tarmac, small is big.

Shrinking the size really should not mean reducing oomph factor. Efforts being put into be designing should be worthy of something atleast.

DUDE !! Off topic, but you know what REALLY reminds me of Darth Vader? The Outlander's taillamps. Think about it. The resemblance is 100%.

This looks much much better than BMW X3 to me.
Any idea what its going price when it makes to India?
I guess it to be around 30 lacs because the X3 itself costs 40lacs (Delh).

Actually I quite like the looks. It stands out without looking awkward where other cars try to blend in. Any rear views?

Hope they have done something on the ride quality and interiors which were pathetic. That's the only way they are gonna recover customers...

About the exteriors, well better than the outgoing version for sure..

What is with this Outgoing Version? X1 does not have any outgoing version. This is a first entry by BMW in this segment. If you are talking about X3, then there is going to be a different X3, not this X1.
