Preview: 2011 Mercedes C-class Facelift

The future C-Klasse Face-Lift (FL) can simply be put in words like this:Good made better!

The medium-sized limousine & break models of Mercedes-Benz are about to receive a mid life-cycle update in 2010, as to prepare the car for 2011 sales year. The refreshing process will include the addition of a new front bumper, along with the LED DRL integrated in it. We will also have LEDs in the headlights, which will slightly be retouched, and in the rear lights. Minor updates are expected for the interior, as well as the introduction of more direct-injection & BLUETEC diesel powerplants, some of them fitted with START/STOP technology. The big surprise, however, will consist of two new, long-awaited versions in the C-Klasse range:a coupe and a soft-top cabriolet, both of them placed below the E-Klasse Coupe & Cabrio. These models are expected to hit the streets somewhere in 2011.

Its the same everywhere...all Audis are getting the led treatment..so Mercedes have decided to give one to their line-up as well

LED on the air-dams! I'd love to see how that looks at night. I hope Merc provides the much-needed goodies (read = better standard equipment) on their Indian C-Class at the time of facelift. No automatic retract on the ORVMs? C'mon, my previous gen C220 has it!

The SL meets the E and the result? The face-lifted C-Class! I like those headlights but this is just a rendering, isn't it? And those LED daytime-running lights are becoming a rage! I see them on i20s and Swifts all over the city!

No!!! The chisseled headlight that i so like in the C has now gained an SL eye-brow?
The interior looks like mini-E class ,and is it round A/C vents that i see?
Can't wait to see the coupe version.
P.S- OT @suhaas307_ yep ,seeing them in swifts,wagonRs,santros and indicas make me cring and now kinda makes me hate LEDs.

This is probably the most extensive facelift Mercedes-Benz has ever done, while it's a good thing, I feel the head lamps did not need to get such a change I think the shape was good enough, also whats with the LED + Half angel lamp? That headlight detailing looks like a mix of Audi + BMW. Might sure look good but then this car if it's the real deal is with the additional sports / AMG package so wonder how it will turn out in the standard trim?

All in all I suppose Mercedes needs to do this because the new 3 is upcoming, and that will be another new direction for BMW and it's sales success if the F01/02 and F10 are anything to go by,

The headlamps in the pics posted by Sid look strikingly similar to the ones we have in the Laura. The LEDs and new bumper look good though.

They look best when they are in Red and on Indica

On a relevant note, Merc is spoiling the front end by those LED's on the bumper.

Wow! Thanks Sidindica for sharing these rendered images. This is one of the most awaited updates to the C-Class from Mercedes. Menacing is a word that comes to my mind, especially in reference to the second rendering. Would love to see a Black C with these headlamps lit up in the night.

My thoughts exactly.. The headlights look like the Laura's. But the new front bumper shape makes the car look more aggressive. A positive make-over in my opinion.

The 2011 face lift for W204 will not have the SL type headlamp. Head Lamp will be have a single projector beam and includes integrated fog lamps.

Going the E - way ! The bumpers look sportier , Maybe something like BMW did it to 3 ! Looks like a proper face-lift though
