the red carpet and red ferrari doesn't gel too well with each other. On its own, 458 is stunning.

A black ferrari on red carpet would have looked awesome.

I don't like the 458 at all. Seriously. It looks like it would drive all by itself! Looks too ergonomic.

Black wheels + red/yellow calipers always does it for me

Very nice pictures.

But to be honest, 458 doesn't cut it for me no matter what numbers say. Just look the picture of 430 and 458 together, and I feel all of a sudden 430 looks so much elegant. 458 looks more like a kit car.

To me it looks pretty good. However, if the area that you don't like is the one right at the rear door, carrying on to the rear fender, then I agree. It sort of has this old Hyundai Tiburon'sih swoop (curve from the sides).

I know this is close to blaspheme, but I couldn't think of a comparable curvy swoop at the rear.

Hmmm. Most of you guys don't like this new Ferrari. Although looks are subjective but I am in love with this car. It's a seriously pretty Ferrari than the older ones (I would still maintain 250 GT is the best looking).

May be it's TG and Clarkson effect that I am under but this is the best for me as yet.

Anyway, Did anyone get to see the review of this car by JC? I am sure most of you must have watched. To others, please do take a look. You will fall for it just after that.

Re: The all new Ferrari 458 Italia!

The Ferrari 458 has been recalled in the US because, the internal trunk release may not work, meaning that, per NHTSA, “In the event an individual is trapped in the trunk and the latch system does not release the trunk lid, it increases the risk of personal injury or possibly death.”

Note, however, that the recall notice only states that the issue occurs when the car is stationary.

Really, that's some recall.
