Images of the new Palio: when do we get to see such fit and finish on Indian Fiats? The interiors looks far better than the GP here.

I hope the plastics will look as good in the Indian version. Overall I think it looks great and very retro-ish.
Fiat can do so much better in India. Fingers crossed for the Bravo as well!

PS: The center console looks similar to previous gen Ferrari's :D

Some more pics of the Palio, looks surprisingly good. Wonder if this will make it to our shores soon, unlike the Punto which made it almost half a decade after its launch worldwide.

IMO - It would have been much better without the forcefully slapped on 'Hyundai' grill at the front!

looks good but IMO FIAT won;t bring it here . Per se their Mr CEO, No new launches till 2013-14 . they plan to revamp the current line up of 2 cars as if it;s a 100 cars they need to revamp :Frustrati and hence 2 years time.

IMO UNO & palio Brand carry too much baggage and any attempt from fiat to bring them here will bring more negativity around them.

Looks good in proportion almost like a Punto. The tail lamps are a bit odd and it would have looked better if they had retained the top half of the tail lamps leaving out the lower half and vice versa. I am not a fan of biig tail lamps. The centre console also though slightly fresh isn't the best.

Looks good they should bring it in under a new sub brand name. Palio just may not work for India anymore.

On a Tangent:
They could even sell it to TATA to give TATA a new car. It would sell more under TATA brand name than FIAT even if it is entirely a FIAT car.

I have a Palio and it needs replacement in near future. Will I go for this new Palio if launched. Nope. Never. Not until Fiat is serious about India.
I would rather go with the Figo turtle or the overpriced Swift but not a car that hardly sells 300 units and then struggle with spares later on. So I think it will be a wise dicision for Fiat if they dont launch this model and just work on the A$$ & niggles.

Here are the details of the New Palio that has been launched in Brazil. Well, heard that in Brazil, the Palio sells in numbers which is comparable to the the Alto in India.

WOW this looks awesome. I always liked the Palio however due to the euro 4 norms and the discontinuation of the Palio did not get one.

Yes i agree with the others that it may not really succeed in India however Fiat has to pull up their socks and ensure that they invest in making this work. There are a whole lot of other competitors out there who can and will bulldoze Fiat if they do not get it right this time!
