Rally Prepped Abarth 500 R3T Revealed in Sanremo

Fiat-owned racing tuner Abarth has introduced a new, race-ready version of the Abarth 500. Based on the new Fiat 500, the Abarth 500 R3T will be used as the principal car in a promotional rally slated for 2010.

Looks gorgeous, I had seen a couple videos of abarth tuned Puntos on You tube.
They bring the best out of Fiats.
Dont know how pratical the tuned product remains thereafter.

Expected a Punto! Surprised to see a 500 looking mean!

"Garret GT 1446 fixed geometry turbocharger" bolted to a 1.4-liter engine. The two combine for a maximum output of 180 horsepower. Mated to the engine is a six-speed sequential gearbox with a twin plate clutch and self-locking differential" Just 180 !

Let me Re-Term That. A very Reliable 180. I would do anything to get my hands on those Headlight Cowls!!

180 weehp from 1.4 :o , car looks fantastic except the extra front light IMO ....
