Ferrari F430 Official Pictures

I really like it, the pictures shown before were poor quality and then it didnt look good with the enzo style back, but here i must say I really like the styling..and with a V8 0-60 in 4.0s...

Check it out..

Cheers

I LOVE IT!! Finally a new car design that appears just so perfect. The front, rear, side...all are absolute perfection. And knowing Ferrari, it will drive much much better than the 360.

Great find

However, those dont look like photographs to me!
So i am still waiting for some *real* photographs...

I like it...I like it a lot.

Anyways, i like the rear, makes the car look real butch! Though they could have toned down the numerous scoops and vents. Too many of those gives it a boy racer kinda look which doesnt gel well with Ferrari's "pure" image.

Just a thought though, dont you feel Ferrari has rushed the redesign of the 360 just a bit. I mean, the existing one still looks as fresh and attractive as ever. I kinda like prolonged lifecycles for these sort off cars. Gives tehn time to become classics if you know what i mean. A gradual evolution is Ok, but such a major redesign? I feel if they had just beefed up the engine and given a few other minor tweaks, the 360 would have been perfect.

Ferrari's are not mass produced cars. They do not need to follow the traditional life cycle of say a Honda Accord. This early redesign kinda loses the charm.

Hey GTO,

by *real* photographs i meant not computer generated (or heavily doctored) images like these.

For a minute there, i thought these were the work of a good pshopper! Then GTO mentioned that the same pics are on the official Ferrari site...

Hmmm...its comin to the point where we cant tell a computer generated image from a real one. OOps...we passed that point years ago actually!!

Notice something, the car design philosophy is a literal take-off and improvement on the Challenge Stradale design. Note the very high engine sill cover right after the passenger cell ends. Very similar to the Stradale.

Maybe we shud have seen the Challenge Stradale as a sign of things to come. IMO, the design is good. It really has the potential to shake up the Gallardo not only in terms of performance, but also looks. What Ferrari has shown since the Stradale is its attention to detail, and this car has gobfulls of it.

Hey Rtech,

My point is that these images look like they are computer models, (or maybe heavily modified photographs).
Nowadays a lot of companies use computerized 3D software to model and display their cars.
These images lead me to believe that they arent actual photgraphs, but were actually computer modelled... what do you think Rudra?

Heres an example of what 3D modelling can do >

Check out this site for the Brasil renderer which is a 3rd party renderer for 3Dstudio Max.
