Audi is planning to launch it's SUV named Q7 in 2006. Now this is news to me. I didn't know Audi had suv plans. Neat looking SUV though. Wonder how it looks from the front. Hope it doesnt have that walrus grille.

Yeah pretty old stuff, it's called the Audi Pikes Peak. Funny, it was supposed to be launched in 2005 and named the A7. Too flashy for my taste and yes it does have the Walrus grille. The concept had a 4.2 litre FSI twin turbo engine producing 500 bhp.

its gonna share its platform with the Lamborghini SUV and not the Porsche and Touareg, since I hardly think Porsche would be up for it and also, 4 of the top car manufacturers in the world sharing a single platform would be just absurd and ruin the name of all these companies.

Looks quite decent IMO. The "walrus grille effect" has been sobered up bit by the bumper.

I second that C4S, the platform will be shared between VW and Porsche and Audi, due to a contract which stated that a second brand of VW would be allowed to use the same platform. Porsche can't really complain as the Cayenne bodies and the V6 engine are both sourced from VW.

The best part is, in the A7, they left out all the 4x4 bits, so atleast it's not claiming something that it isn't capable of .

Nice..pretty bulky...like the headlights alot give a futuristic look..tail lamps r similar to the Infinity FX. I like the way the exhausts have been blended into the rear bumper.
