One more thing about the chinese cars. There was a brand called GONOW right at the end of the exhibition which had pickups based on the Toyota Prado design. To quote Steeroid from another forum

I see what you mean Wheeler and there is no issue with the pictures I guess, its just that i believe in "live and let live'.

One might not like the cars out of china but still its amazing how fast they have coem to this state,

another fact is that they have not just copied discontinued Toyota models but have actually purchased the rights to make them from Toyota.

Chinese pick ups as ypu might be aware are the most popular pic ups in the UAE, everywhere you go you see Great Wall and Deer pick ups.

Similarly their cars are also going to be popular soon. Back in the forties everyone laughed at Japan and their cars and look what happened to them, today they are one of the most popular cars in the world and the one who laughed at them just got saved from going extinct.
