Vw 1l @ 600$

hi,
received this mail today about VW 1L car to be launched in shangai in this year for 600$.

did some googling and founf lot of links to this car:

VW 1 Liter Car

Quasi's Mojo: New Single Seat VW ( . )Y( . )

searched the forum, couldn't find any link to this car, so thought of starting this thread!

please confirm whether this is not a email hoax and if it is true, any news about it being launched in india?

90 kmpl diesel ?!! That canopy alone should cost $600..

But the 2 VW news sites, vwvortx.com and volkswatch.com are completely silent about this "launch"...?

Its a hoax mail for sure. Its beeing circulating for quiet some time, I guess.
