10 Second 'Vette by 'Lingenfelter'! Chevrolet's Corvette ZR1 has proven that it can be a very fast car on the track (faster round the Nürburgring than the Nissan GT-R and - as much as I hate to admit it!  - the Porsche 911 Turbo) and on the straight line. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is well known for their work on Corvette models. Their C6 Corvette ZR1 recently made three 9 second runs, hitting a best of 9.813 quarter-mile at 145.74 mph at the Maryland International Raceway.
The Lingenfelter ZR1 has been upgraded with the company’s LS9 components designed to provide 739 rear-wheel horsepower and 740 rear-wheel torque. Upgrades to the Lingenfelter ZR1 include:
