Just came across this september best seller list for Canada. Somehow, i feel the 10 top selling cars deserve to be among the top ten.
1. Honda Civic (I am not one bit surprised)
2. Mini Cooper (a pleasent surprise)
3. Mazda 3 (definately deserves this position)
4. Toyota Corolla ( I am not one bit surprised)
5. Acura TL (I am not one bit surprised)
6. VW Jetta Sedan & Station wagon (thank god that a European car is in the top 10)
7. Infiniti G35 & G35 Coupe (deserves it)
8. BMW 3 series & 3 series Touring (I would be
if there was not BMW in this list)
9. Honda Accord (i m sure surprised that it's so low)
10. Mazda 350Z (maybe the sticker price brought it so down, still a commendable performance)

So 7 out of 10 are Japanese and the rest are European. Whatever happened to GM and Ford? And where is Mercedes? What about Audi? Man, it's high time the European car makers did some serious thinking about where they are going wrong. And did you notice, there is not a single Korean car in there. Hyundai India really needs to stop boasting to us Indians about it's zooming sales in western countries!

Not surprising. When I visited Canada, was pleasantly surprised to find more of a European culture (driver oriented and otherwise) rather than the American (everything is straight line).
