The front looks like direct rip from RR and the change is the bumper and the head lights.Has Ford appointed any chinese people in the design area

Have never seen these lines on the Explorer over the years with their flat grille, flat body panels and upright windscreen - just look at the rake of that windscreen.
I was a big fan of the second generation Explorer. The third generation was a disappointment and the fourth, the less said the better.
I just hope this one doesn't come out looking too much like the Taurus X on which this thing is based. Disappointed there are no cues from the Explorer America concept shown a few years back.
In any case for me this one screams Ford is serious about the mid-size SUV market in the US and I love it. Maybe I am biased.

From every possible angle, I could see, this Explorer is nothing but The Range Rover, The new Toyota Fortuner and the Mitsubishi Outlander blended into one.
