Mercedes-Benz R-Class Facelifed

Just saw these photos of facelifted R-class in GermanCarZone.

I liked the freshened fascia. It look much better than its predessor!

No guys This model doesn't have the gear lever , its a 7G Tronic and we push buttons behind the steering wheel to engage the different modes.
And the car I think looks fabulous and they have tried to reproduce the looks of the GL. The lights and the grill from the front are very similar to the GL.
Nice looking vehicle though.

Not really... R Class and many other 'cedes have proper gear stick behind the steering wheel before you jump to the paddle shift.

Find it in the attached pic.

Car is supposed to be much better than it looks. People who have driven/ used this are gaga about how the car drives yet holds so much without feeling ponderous. It is quite popular in China of all places!

Hey, the is really a good way to FL a car. I think the previous R was a Dull design and this is a very big improvement. Now I want MB India to introduce the R in here.

Now the R class looks like a proper merc.
But i don't like the steering wheel of a all merc SUVs and MUVs models(except G class).
Eventhough a merc fanatic the design and the use of the brush steel on the steering wheel doesn't look the part.

The current R350 is a bit sluggish at start given its weight but highway cruising is smooth. Not that great for city driving. But the Bluetech version is great with abundant torque available at just 1500rpm.
