2010 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

Porsche is adding a new member to the 911 family in the form of the Carrera GTS

, which will be making its world debut later this month at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.

The new GTS is positioned just above the 911 Carrera S and in keeping with that positioning receives a slight bump in power. The car’s 3.8-liter flat six engine has been tuned to produce 23 horsepower more than the one in the Carrera S, now coming in at 408 horsepower. Peak torque remains at 310 pound-feet but is available at 4,200 rpm, 200 rpm lower than in the Carrera S.

For some odd reason, For the very FIRST time, I've fallen in love with a Porsche! Trust me on this, Its absolutely stunning!

So Porsche is getting GTS models between the S and the Turbo's. Cant wait for the new Cayenne GTS.

Another one??? Oh GOD!! Why not just scrap the Boxter and cayman and just have a 5 more 911s instead!!!

This is the best 911 Carrera till date!! Agree with Scorcher, even I am starting to love Porsches now

In fact it started when they showcased the Turbo S! Brilliant!!

And finally, I can tell the difference between various Porsche 911s

Very clean looks, awesome.

This will sell well, considering that it bridges the gap between the normal road going 911's and the more track oriented GT versions.
