Race 22:30

Track Details: Montreal

Race Date: 12th June 2011
Circuit Name: Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
Number of Laps: 70
Circuit Length: 4.361 km
Race Distance: 305.270 km
Lap Record: 1:13.622 - R Barrichello (2004)

This is the Island track and the only F1 track with 2 DRS Zones. Considered to be tough on tyres and hard on braking.

The only track with a dedicated and dubious "WALL OF CHAMPIONS":D

Pirelli to bring the soft and super-soft tyres, as they did in Monaco. Ferrari will be relieved but Mercedes not so. I guess McLaren will be strong here on Sunday.

The circuit is very hard on brakes and let see how many cars will have proper stopping power till the end.

And 2 DRS Zones. On the main straight (Casino straight) leading to the final chicane and on the pit straight (Start-Finish straight).

Interesting! I bet Force India would not be anywhere close to the points!! I wanna see the Redbulls perform here.

I think Force India will do well here. Their top speed in all the races has been the highest.
McLaren will do well here, provided the brakes hold.

clap: Finally Scuderia fans got something to cheer about! Alonso tops FP2!!

Couple of accidents in FP2 made it difficult to gauge the real pace of the top runners. Ferrari look good, but Redbull as usual must be holding something back for qualifying. The Force Indias have looked good so far, hope that translates into a decent grid position.

yeah Vettel does it again, but it was damn close so i wouldnt take it very very seriously.

Why is Webers car having this KERS issue all this while, and Vettel is running away to 2011 Championship.... Maybe RedBulls dont want a close fight for WDC.:Frustrati

Massa was amazing, he might just gobble up Alonso today.. Keep a watch out for him.

Mercedes GP is getting quicker, hope for some better results today.

As usual Force India seem to be good only as MidField runners.

BTW... What time is the Race Telecast for India.

My Hathway program details shows me some lunatic timings....!

The McLarens are on a wet setup.. will be interesting to see if it works out for them.

Ferrari were hoping for rain but given how close they are to Vettel, now i'm sure they would prefer a dry race.

Massa finally looks to have found his feet and is bang on the pace. He is a different driver once he qualifies in the top 3.

Canada has always been very hard on brakes, with KERS and 2 DRS zones this is going to be the toughest test yet!

Also looking forward to Di Resta's performance, he's really humbled Sutil this season.

Just noticed, the 2nd pic is a really old one, it does not show the current pit exit and where it rejoins the race track at Turn 2

Massa is as quick as anyone if the car is fast and to his liking, but if its rains expect him to slip down the order.

Rain looks likely at some point in the race so it should benefit the McLaren drivers as well as the Renaults who have also gambled on a wet setup.

Ferrari were hoping for rain but given how close they are to Vettel, now i'm sure they would prefer a dry race.

In theory, the Ferrari aero is its weakness and hence lower grip, but Alonso is a driver who is supremely confident in the wet, so lets see...

Agree. He has made the most of the Force India car in qualifying, heres hoping he has an even better race! This chap has been making noises about driving for Mercedes one day and has hired Antony Hamilton to manage his affairs. Good going so far.

Race is at 10:30 pm India time. Hope to see Scuderia's on top! Massa seems to be all fired up. Amazing race on cards. Redbulls have tweaked something just to get to the pole. it will not be easy to hold on to that against the marauding ferrari's!

Finally something for ferrari fans to cheer about. It should be a good race as always in canada filled with drama. i have to admit Massa is looking strong so far this weekend, but over a race distance will have to put my money on Alonso.

The start should be interesting. With Alonso on the dirty side of the track and with massa in form, lets see what unfolds.

Being a ferrari fan, i put my money on alonso this weekend for the win!
GO FERRARI

Will we see the orange and blue Pirellis today? :D

The Ferraris look good, McLaren looks to have set their car for rain and Cananda is believed to be the bogey track for RB. I guess, we are in for a thriller! :thumbs up
