Karun gets back into a race car

Karun Chandok has replaced Trulli for the German GP at Lotus. No apparent reason is stated. Even Trulli says its a good opportunity and promotion of young talent etc etc.

I feel they are preparing him for a drive at the Indian GP. We may have 2 Indian drivers on the grid after all!!

You are right. Uncle Bernie may have had a say in this.
But there is no second Indian driver now that Narain is out.

Re: Karun gets back into a race car

Jarno's having trouble with the power steering all season long, which is being updated at the next racein Hungary. Good move to put Karun in. This I feel is an evaluation for the Indian GP.

No Narain will race in India. When Ricciardo replaced him, they stated that he will do so for all races except Indian GP because Narain's contract requires him to drive in India.
