Schumi still not faster than Rosberg. The fact proved this time when Nico finally nailed a lap. Schumi is definitely slower than Rosberg.
Tomorrow i feel the race pace may still be off for Mercedes. They have nailed Qualifying in this circuit but dont think they have the race pace. |
Its been that way since Michael goes for a setup which is more suitable for the race than the qualifying. However, I agree with the fact that the Mercedes are yet to show strong pace on sunday!
When was the last time Mercedes was in pole position? 1950's?
At Monza in 1955 with three cars driven by Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss and Karl Kling.

Even in the last three practise the race pace of Mclaren and Redbull have been better compared to Mercedes. If they can get into the first corner 1 and 2 and can stay out front till the first stop i feel it could be time to see MS on the podium.
Mclaren is super fast in the race and the mid sector is far more defendable than the long straights where mercedes is untouchable.
Its all upto tyre management now.
I for one want to see the traditional qualifying giving one hour to play with and allowing teams to play on different stratergy in the one hour. Had lots of Drama and with such close timing between the top 10 i feel its about time we go back to old qualifying
Great day for Mercedes. Mega lap from Nico. Strange to see all the other drivers drop off the pace as Q3 progressed. Shows hows sensitive F1 cars are to ambient temperature.
Sunday should be very interesting. Merc have not got the race pace that others do, but overtaking them will be quite tough. Will be a nice dash to T1 on the 1st lap, with the ever eager Kobayashi behind them!
What a amazing 2012 season so far!

The kamikaze guy is unpredictable, and could add a few twists. He is also a driver very good at grabbing opportunities.
Considering how close things were in Q2, the race may provide quite a few upsets.:thumbs up
Guys, Need help..!
Need any site which has online streaming of tomorrow's raceplease:
After such an evenly poised positions, unable to watch tomorrows race.
Disaster stuck for Micheal, ends race with loose wheel nut. That was a Pure mistake by pit crew .
Schume out of race due to wheel issue. Pit crew screwed up for Schume.
Yeah the mechanic blew it for Michael Shumacher, it was a wonderful opportunity for the Petronas mercedes to score good championship points.
Still I feel Rosberg is fast enough to win his first Grand prix all depends on the pit stop strategies, I feel most of the top teams are going for 3stop strategies and with Soft Compound tyres.
Enjoying the race and feel Raikonen is an aggressive driver and would like to see him finish in the podium:)
What a change this year! Red bulls are behind there is stiff challenge from Mercedez and Lotus. Schumi and Raikkonen adding spice and showing the stuff they got.
Unfortunate Schumi had to retire. Go Raikkonen Go! Missed you for couple of seasons!
Ferrari must seriously do something with the car and pull Massa out and replace with another. Guys like Maldonado, Perez, Di resta displaying much better driving skills.

I too like Maldonado of williams is aggressive but most times he retires or makes a mistake to end up without points.
Fernando Alonso is going great with a underperforming Ferrari
This Grand prix is really exciting:thumbs up I feel Rosberg is on a 2stop strategy compared to that of 3stop strategy of Jenson, I really want Rosberg to win his first Grandprix.
What a race!!
Brilliant one, haven't seen such a close race with so much overtaking for ages.
Three races and three different winners from three different teams. A great 2012 season indeed.
Sad that schumi had that wheel problem. Brilliant drive by Rosberg, Button and all the top drivers.clap:
Lotus team really needs some thinking brains. From P2 to P14 in few laps, why couldn't they bring Kimi in for new sets of tires? He would have at least had opportunity to fight back. Their pit stops weren't great either. Lost places in both pit stops.
