Really exciting race today.

Mercedes back to its original form, and a torrid start from Hamilton.

Vettel drove really well, but at one point I really thought Kimi will get past, but it wasn't to be, sadly. Brilliant drive by Grosjean as well. Good recovery from Mark Webber as well.

Mark Webber's pitstop problem was quite horrifying, but thankfully the cameraman is OK.

All in all, a good race, and thankfully no tire blowouts.

BTW, anybody know what happened to Massa? He spun to the left, while going in to a right hand turn??

P.S I swear to god, the Star Sports adverts are mind bogglingly irritating.

Re: 2013 F1 - German Grand Prix @ Nürburgring

A Good race in a long time, Sadly ESPN HD decided to ditch F1 for wimbeldon and Starsports had too many Ad breaks depriving us of the actual incidents that occured during the race.

What a race by Vettel, he kept his cool from the moment the Red lights went off. Nice to see Mclarens within points. Webber's horrifying moments in the pits and the way he bounced back within points was amazing, Ferrari has the only consolation in Alonso's 4th.

As usual the Mercedes is proving to be just qualifying team and had a terrible race. Its only some off luck and Hamilton the team has come this far this year. Else, the team is same as where Schumacher had left.

Force India is looking good to stay within the top5 in the constructors list.

I think they felt that after parc ferme there wouldn't have been enough fuel(1Ltr.) for post-race test rather. I don't know about penalties in the race for the same. In Qualifying of course as we all know is a straight back to the grind penalty.

The race was so-so for me.
-I applaud Vettel very well driven. Good attack by Kimi at the very end.
-Sad about FI. It was evident from this entire weekend though this wasn't going to be their race.
-Massa looks to be set on ending his career at Ferrari. Fernando in the same boat as FI, not got the car beneath him.
-Williams. lol.
-Lotus look strong once again. This was for me the most exciting part of the race and what it could mean for the championship battle this season.
-Mercedes seem to have taken a step back when it comes to tyre management after the switch to Kevlar. Thermal Issues as per Newey.

On to Hungary!

Vettel looks to be on his way to a 4th WDC.
We are left to witness a 5 way fight for P2 - Alonso, Kimi, Mark, Lewis and Nico.
Should be interesting.

Star cricket HD should have been utilized to show the race in HD rather then repeating some old matches on that channel.A LIVE event like F1 is more important then some old matches.

A week or so ago they showed Moto Gp on star cricket HD.
