Sounds like the offspring of starscream heading in a bunch to the playground, that does.
That had to be the longest formation lap in history.

A bit slow, but let's see.

re: Formula E - The 2014-15 Season

Pathetic organizing from a safety standpoint. Glad that the first race didn't end up as a black day in the history of motorsport. I was really surprised to see that Heidfeld had to crawl out of the car by himself and walk into the pit lane after such a crash in a race organized by FIA. Where were the track Marshalls and other emergency crew after such a horrifying crash?

Coming to the incident, that was a considerable change of direction from Prost at the last minute, he should have blocked the path a couple of seconds earlier before Heidfeld was already side by side.

I thought Chandok was running in P6 before the crash and all of a sudden, we see him still finishing in P6 after the top 2 crashed. What happened there? And what happened with Abt's 3rd place? It was very confusing in the end.

re: Formula E - The 2014-15 Season

That has got to be the stupid'est move I have ever seen. I think Prost should come out and say he did it on purpose, as without intention I can't see any sense in that move. What the hell was he smoking?

Seems like Alain taught his son well. Just the right tricks to take people out when they try to overtake you. Why am I not surprised!

Re: Formula E - The 2014-15 Season

Missed this. Wanted to see if it could be a stop gap arrangement to occupy the weekends when F1 goes on the annual break. But the space is too much so will probably have to club in with football and some other sports after the Winter break in F1.

Its an interesting idea. Not sure what it looked like when they were actually racing. Any videos anywhere?

2nd race is set to be on the same day as the final race of the F1 calendar. Looks like this is going to be a very busy Sunday for the motorsport fans.

Franck Motagny tests positive for cocaine derivative:

I havent read anything like this in recent times. Makes me wonder what people like James Hunt had in his system during the 70's and how some drivers pulled in their last fag just before the formation lap.
