The well known motorcycle sport website GpOne.com has reported that for the year 2015 the title sponsor for the Yamaha MotoGP team will be Abarth. In the past when Valentino Rossi was a Yamaha Rider, Fiat was the title sponsor, and now with Rossi back at Yamaha after a disastrous two years with Ducati and the having two reasonably good seasons with Yamaha, Fiat the Italian company may choose to sponsor Yamaha again. But since Fiat is now Fiat Chrysler it seems to want to use its performance division Abarth as the sponsor. In 2007, Rossi had a one off race with his bike carrying the Abarth branding. Now there is some doubt about the livery for 2015 which both Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will be using on their respective motorcycles. But it seems certain that the Yamaha MotoGP team will be Abarth-Yamaha racing team.
