South Korea joins the F1 bandwagon

South Korea has signed a deal with Bernie Ecclestone to host the Korean GP from 2010 onwards. The race will be held at the proposed and soon to undergo construction "Korean International Circuit". A seven year deal with an additional 5 year option. Basically, the deal guarentees S Korea a F1 race from 2010 to 2021.

And here is source for this news
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/54879

It is good to see new locations being added to F1 calender. But at the same-time it means goodbye to another circuit with historic value.

@ranjan united: Make sure you provide source next time.

O.T. A couple of years back, there was a lot of talk of an F1 circuit in India. Hyderabad, kolkatta and new delhi were touted as the possible venues.
