Narian Karthikeyan: Straight from the heart

Latest interview by Narian Karthikeyan. Karuns and Armaans came and went but Narian is still the fastest Indian on the planet as he proved in his recent performance in A1GP. You have to admire his 'never say die' philosophy which took him to F1 and is keeping him there, not to mention his ability to court sponsors.

NK is the man. 20 years down the line, we will hail him as the man who started it all...Go Narain!

I think karun and armaans didnt go any where. You can rephrase your sentence to look better.

Karun is into gp2 and armaan into renault asia, with respective to their ages they are far beyond Narain.

Everything said and done about Narain, it was quite a dismal performance during the last F1 season. Never even came below 10 spot forgot about a single podium finish. I think his aggressive style of driving was the culprit behind him crashing out so many times in last season.

Its no good compering him with local talent. I too agree for their age, Karun and Armaan are doing great.

Where does Narain stand with respects to global competition????

I was talking with particular reference to A1GP which is the only series that all 3 have driven in a span of 2 years. Both Aarman and Karun drove plenty of races to get used to the cars and brought up the rear but Narian jumped into the car and finished in the points in the very first event with zero testing time. At this point, KC and AE are gone as far as A1GP goes. Parthiv Suresh will be driving in the event that NK cannot make it.
At 31, he is past his prime physically but remains on top of his game. Of course, KC and Aarmans' careers have by no means ended and that isint what I implied.
