Here's a resource thread for web articles on the costs incurred in developing a driver for Formula 1, starting from karting.

Admittedly, these costs are in foreign countries and the articles are a bit dated.

How much money does it cost to become a F1 Driver?
Searching on the internet Ex1 (https://www.raconteur.net/business/t...to-formula-one) , reading some reddit posts Ex2 (https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/co...o_obtain_a_f1/) made it really clear that it is really expensive and most likely just a sport where only rich are found doing it.
Just wanted to know if there are any changes in any of the rules or way things happen to become a F1 Driver.

How much money does it cost to obtain a F1 licence? How expensive is the career leading up to that (i.e. karts and feeder series)?
