Romain Grosjean to drive the Mercedes W10 for a one-off test! According to Mercedes, Romain Grosjean will get behind an F1 car for the first time since his crash in Bahrain last year.
After his devastating crash in Bahrain last year, Toto Wolff had promised that he would give Grosjean a chance to drive the Championship Winning car once as a proper farewell to the driver from the sport.
Grosjean will be driving Hamilton’s W10 which won the World Championship in 2019. Mercedes said the 35-year-old will perform demonstration laps ahead of his home French Grand Prix on June 27, and then test at the southern circuit on June 29 — seven months to the day since the crash. |
