The 2024 season has finally come to an end. After a terribly boring and one sided 2023 season, this season had everything. Unexpected and shocking transfers to a team going from winning 22/23 races last year to finishing P4 this year.
Keeping aside transfers and driver performances, this thread is focussed on the races. Incredibly close races and 7 different winners this year. Including Lewis winning his last ever British GP in a Mercedes, Charles finally breaking the Monaco Curse and Alpine going from last to the top of the midfielders, etc.

Imo if I put them in order of my preferences, it'd be -
1. Sao Paolo GP
2. British GP
3. Monza

Stupendous race and strategy call by Russell. Great drive by Lewis, Piastri too! Gap between top 3 was half a second. Too bad, Russell was disqualified on a technicality after the race.

Second favourite, Brazil! Max drove a champion's race when the entire grid was struggling in difficult conditions (5 DNF). P17 to P1.

I would say Canada had a good blend of chaos and good racing.

Brazil also a good shout. A stellar drive from Max and also from the Alpines. But it was so so chaotic.

Shoutout to Hungary too for the mess with all the team radio and questionable strategies and of course questionable driving

Azerbaijan - Piastri is a fellow countryman and he drove a brilliant race. One of the best by a rookie.

Would've never thought max could win that race.

Voted for Brazil. The earlier drive by Verstappen in 2016 charging through the field in soaking conditions was a memorable one; but this year's epic drive elevates him to Michael Schumacher levels of Regenmeister for me. This was one for the ages and we will undoubtedly be hearing about it and rewatching over the coming years. This was a masterclass.

To be honest, it was such a long season that I can not even remember the highlights of the earlier races.

Canada was awesome, saw some nice overtakes. The best in my opinion was Alex, squeezing through like a rickshaw in Mumbai traffic.

However, Brazil was the best and would be a race I would show to my kids when I get older.

Voted for Brazil. Max showed why he is a world champion. That was truly a champion's drive

I think i will vote for the italian grand prix. With ferrari winning the race, the tifosi went crazy and it looked as if the entire arena was celebrating, singing and making merry for ferrari's win, the red color in the air and in stands, the atmosphere was simply unreal.

There were many thrilling races this year. I would rate the Brazilian Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix at the top.

In the case of Brazil, the way Max Verstappen won was thrilling, like watching a movie. He started in 17th position and still managed to win, which was incredible. The rain also made things more dramatic by making the track slippery and wet. I always find watching races with wet tracks interesting as they make races challenging as well as exciting for both drivers and fans.

The British Grand Prix was special due to Lewis Hamilton's win. It was Hamilton's first win in a long time. He made history by winning the British Grand Prix nine times.

As a die hard Ferrari fan, voted for Monza. It was the perfect way to show what Ferrari actually is to the Netflix audiences. Also one of those rare strategical masterclasses from Ferrari.

Obviously Interlagos was stupendous from Max but this was equally fantastic.

Purely from an emotional perspective- Silverstone. Was great to see Lewis win again and it was a good race with pretty much all the top 4 cars at the same level.

Apart from that , Brazil obviously was a great one with lot of unpredictability due to the weather. Was a defining drive from Max.

I voted for the Austrian GP because of the contentious clash between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, resulting in punctures for both. The incident marked a turning point in the Max-Lando rivalry​.

For me it was hands down the Brazilian GP, not just for the sheer brilliant and dominant drive by Max, but I really felt that this race separated the Men from the Boys! Whether that be Alonso-Lance, Oscar-Lando. Alpine drivers finishing on the podium was so special and Max banging in fastest laps at the end was just surreal!

A close second for me would be Silverstone! A masterclass seeing Hamilton in his element.
