Yeah, strange, it *is* a hatchback. Here are some photos.

Tour de Corse, 12-14 Oct. The alarms on day 1 turned out to be false but they did retire on day 2. It also appears that they haven't participated since (Japan and Ireland). Also noticed something interesting while checking out the results: the Swift S1600 has been posting some pretty impressive times, beating WRCars to as high as position 15 overall. Very interesting, considering the recent Esteem vs Swift conversation we've been having in the "Rally Suitability..." thread.

Suzuki finally has its SX4 WRC car living up to the hype - the all-new SX4 WRC car finished 31st in Corsica at the weekend - its maiden outing in the FIA World Rally Championship.

Whats strange?

SX4 started as a hatch/Crossover SUV. The WRC version was also displayed long time back.
Its only after the hatch that the sedan version was introduced for China/India markets.

Really? I didn't know that... I was under the impression that the hatch was a WRC spin-off. Ah, well... Thanks!

Haven't really noticed, actually. Don't recall seeing any SX4s around here. Saw a few Balenos badged as "Esteem"s, though. Will keep an eye out, although I guess you're right

We should be seeing more of the SX4 in Rally GB next weekend.
