what a sad day for me to see Michael retire,i hope he just wins the WDC,great driving Michael.

and FIY Fonso was on a new race engine not on a old engine, get the facts rights.

I paid my due respects at the appropriate thread, if I was such a hater I would have spoilt the party there too.

They talked of Alonso's car having second race engine mileage during qualifying yesterday, that is what I was using as reference. If you don't believe me, catch the qualifying rerun. If it's wrong info, it's wrong.

This is the kinda attitude that saperates racers from ricers

Racing drivers are always known to be temperamental. If they aren't, it doesn't show on track. Schumi has matured enough over the years to know not to displease his team, and sponsors and blah. Just incase you are going to draw up a comparison between the two. You still can't take away from Alonso the fact that he is darn good racing driver, and at a pretty young age.

Not belittling the moment, maybe I just see the light better since I don't follow the sport as religiously as you do. Don't forget it still is everybody's cash machine! And Bernie is especially greedy.....

Really sad to hear Schumacher's retirement in the post race interview. Won his last Monza GP in style. For me he is the greatest driver of all time and will remain so.
Great driveng by Kimi and Alonso too and not to forget Robert Kubica. Its great to finish on the podium in the third GP.

Hehe my prediction came alright ;)

Kimi's bad luck period got over....
Fonsi's started....
And Kubica did spring a surprise!!!
Me the new Bejan Daruwalla!!!:p

good ess_a now can you please predict that Michael will win all the remaining three races.

one point i had to make was Michael was loosing time in sector 1 and 3 which have long straights ,if we see that Michaels top speed was not even in the top 8,i think they had limited the revs of his old engine,i think with a new engine he could have been quicker, what do you think guys?

This must have been much like a fairytale for Ferrari and MS, but THEY weren't responsible for the penalty which was givin to Fonsi by the stewards - The SAME guys who penalised MS at Monaco so that should stop someone from saying they favored Ferrari.

The race stewards are different in every race. Every circuit usually has a local guy too. They had an Italian and different officials this time from Monaco.
Was surprised when Alonso didn't get any penalty for straightlining the first corner during the race while overtaking Heidfeld (I think). Looks like the stewards wanted to compensate for their actions before.

Bernie goes home rolling on the floor laughing, F1 practically oversold for the rest of the races.

Man, I couldn't have put it betterclap:

Simply because he was ahead of Heidfeld while entering the corner and he did not rejoin ahead of Button after the corner. Had he taken Button's race position after straighlining the corner, he would have been penalised.

Was a good race. Splendid driving by Robert Kubica although Massa had the fastest speed around the track @ 348 kmph, he couldn't get past Kubica and all this happens in his 3rd F1 race!

Exactly what i was wondering... where did he block Massa ???

As for the Race, congrtas to Schumi... pity that Alonso's Engine had to fail and what a drive by him ..... Kimi ??? .... and what a drive by Kubica...

alonso was pushing pretty hard to make the chequered flag to start his final qualifying lap..

i dont see any blocking anywhere

lol: Hey he is definitely gonna scorch the reamining three... No need of any prediction... these three are the last three the champ is gonna race... WOW you just wait for 13 days!!!

Guys, Monza is now part of history so lets move on....bottomline is, a car on a "OUT LAP" (Alonso) is supposed to concede to a car on a "HOT LAP" (Massa); Alonso may not have literally blocked Massa but he certainly would have bu*****d his concentration & prevented him from posting a faster timing. So let's just let it go & move on.......

OT: Don't like either of them lol:

All credits to Schumi, raikkinonen and kubica, Man, kubica seems to be a competitor for the next season..Sad to hear that the legend is retiring.Schumi rocks and will remain as the best F1 driver ever..Amen..
