Narain : does he have the pace ?

getting into the ring with the best in the world is not an easy task..
he will be the 1st indian to do so .. which means more pressure.. as if the pressure from F1 itself isnt enough

honestly, i dont expect any spectacular drives from him in the coming months..
for the simple reason thats he hasnt got enough miles (in the jordan) under his belt
getting noticed in a not-so-quick car is goign to be tough
on the other hand.. anthony davidson ( the other fav. for the seat ) has hade his fair share and experience in an F1 car.. and proven himself to be quick

Jordan itself is going thru a bit of uncertainty regarding its future.. mark smith, technical director has recentrly left the team
Midland F1 are set to take it over in the near future
..the engine deal from toyota will def. give them a boost tho

i just hope he can live upto the mountain of expectations and not succumb to them..

all i can say is that he did two good things at melbourne:
1. completed the race
2. did not come last
so he does show some promise!

It would have been quite an achievement to come last at melbourne considering the pace of the Minardis with their rookies as well as untested aero-bits. NK did really well. He drove pretty consistently apart from a few excursions. Did not do 360s like his team-mate. And at the end of the race no one was blaming him for not using his mirrors.

give the guy a bit more credit
1> this was his first F1 race
2> he was in a jordan
3> he finished ahead of his team mate who was a official f1 test driver
4> hes not as fit as the other drivers-like shumi
