Yes it is the last race of the season. Wish he wins the race also, in the sprint race he is on fifth position.

I had goosebumps hearing our national anthem played for our victory.

Thank you,Narain Karthikeyan . You did it for us.

What was amazing is the fact that he held onto the pressure from Ireland and Britain.I expected him to fall down a place or two since he's done that before.At the first pit stop, Britain took lead.But, it as the second pitstop where Narain just edged past Robbie Kirr at the pit lane. The India vs England fight till the end is something i wont forget soon. As soon as he felt Robbie Kirr catching up, he just zoomed his way through the circuit.

From the 40th lap, i was praying like an Indian cricket fan at an India vs Pakistan match. Edge of the seat. Especially since Mr. Ireland banged into our car during some wheel to wheel action. Thank God, NK nursed the car to finish and broke it while making donuts.

Awesome race, could not see it read the race review. Well needed and deserved win for India. Mr.Mallaya, sir what do you think about his racing now, is he up for f1 now or not.

Jerish , UNFORTUNATELY this was the last race of the season . So hope that he continues in the same manner next season .

India finsihed 10th overall with the Switzerland taking away the title -- but then the Swiss driver has an Indian dad and is very proud of his Indian roots .

Lets see what happens next season which I think starts in Sept '08 !!

Yes, Narain & the whole Indian A1 GP team have come through & done everybody proud !

And like Nitrous said, it was great hearing the anthem during the prize giving ceremony !

But must say that its really sad to see that Narains victory has only 12 posts whereas a F1 thread has 12 pages of posts in a few hours . I guess it does say quiet a lot about the so called fans in here and their National spirit .

Talk about the power of media but one sport thats been crushed by F1 is WRC ,it surely deserves a much better appreciation.
PS : Dont forget that NK had once spoken very low about A1GP .

Personally I think its a great achievement and I was so excited I rushed after seeing the race hoping to see atleast a 100 post . the sad part was I was the first one to post

about the victory.
