Congrats M&M. Well I'm not suprised at all. This thing can go fast. I mean really fast. I found it out when the driver of one such M&M pick up floored the pedal on NH4 to show whos Boss. And now on the International front, Kudos!

This is just amazing !!

"Maybe with this result, expect Mahindra by Bramont to think about an entry in the 2010 edition of the Dakar in January! It just could be the first ever Indian vehicle ever in a world championship rally raid!"

Here's the route map:

One more reason to feel proud from M & M.

This is one Indian company that I really admire.

This is the like the under-dog stealing the lime-light!

An unproven vehicle, in its first rally, with a stock configuration - comes 22nd of the 29 who finish out of the 66 who start!

Way to go, M&M!

I guess this might have been a very pleasant surprise even to the folks at M&M!

Lol, not really.

You see, this thread was launched at noon today, and EIGHT hours later, there were only 2 posts.

That was my "natural" reaction, let me say. nothing more. Nothing less either.

Did you see the extensive re-inforcing "roll-cage" within the cabin of that Scorpio? Wow !!!

OT:There is a vote thread coming up, you know who wins?

Congrats Mahindra, make the designs look better and people in India might buy Mahindras like people are crazy about SUVs elsewhere.

congratulations M&M and the driver behind the wheel!:-) I thought Scorpio getaway was bad off road. I know this is a cross country rally of sorts but Scorpio pick up doing this is really surprising! Looks can be deceiving!
