I suppose we can use this thread for testing results? Maybe the mods can change the title to the Winter Testing Thread.

First up, I was happy to see this: Massa back on track as testing kicks off - Planet-F1 News from planet-f1.com

I'm no Ferrari fan but its good to see Massa back and quick as he was. As for the times themselves, its a bit hard to say much since the fuel tanks being much larger, the teams could be running a much wider range of fuel loads. So can't really say much.

Mclaren diffuser

Very interesting idea with three steps, making it look like triple deck diffuser; surely looks more refined than any

Consolidated Testing Times

Below are the consolidated testing times from the first test at Valencia. By the look at the time sheets the Ferrari is the car to beat. Lets hope the times set by Nando are not on a low fuel load as rumored by some. Would love to see Alonso win most of the races!!

Looks like the decision to stop work on the F2009 midway during last season & instead develop the F10 was a wise one !

Some faux analysis on the web suggest that the fastest laps set by the F10 were on low fuel, conveniently ignoring the fact that most of the other cars set their fastest laps on low fuel runs too. No matter how you look at it, the F10 is quicker than the chasing pack, & by a healthy margin. The key to Ferrari's success, or dominance, this season would be their fuel consumption & tire degradation levels.

Will Alonso deny Schumi again ? I sure hope not...

Schumacher must be running heavy to psych himself.
Sauber run on Ferrari engines too, right?

The Mercedes for sure were running heavy! Rosberg did mention about the 150 Kilo fuel load in his car. And, the Mercedes is running the 2009 spec diffuser and front wing.

Brawn has also hinted at a new diffuser more innovative than the current one to be there in Bahrain! There is more to come.

Sauber uses the Ferrari engine and I also read about million$ spent with Shell to get a fuel which will make fuel consumption more lighter. Ferrari does look fast and the Spanish bull cart driver should be able to take it to its limits!

I would prefer the name Spanish Matador to Bull Cart Driver Ferrari seem to be quick but there are a lot of uncertainties.
Their drivers seems to set their fastest laps early in the session meaning they have a car which is easy to set-up unlike the F60.

McLaren seem quick with Lewis and Mercs will surely have some trump card with them.
No comments on Red Bull since they have not yet launched. Virgin Racing's car looks like a private bus with the flowery livery

So much speculation, so few conclusive answers. Like they always say, wait for Bahrain. When the flag drops, the bullshit stops and only then we'll really know.
