Honda is BACK!

Yes, the best engineering company in the world (Atleast IMO) is back in full force in F1.

After a dominant decade, Honda decided to leave F1 and head across the pond to stamp their presence on US soil. They did that easily enough.

A few years later, the restless engineers at honda were probably bored with the tight regulations in the IRL and CHAMP car series, so Honda "kind of" came back into F1 with partial support for Jordan and BAR. They then increased their stake in BAR, and now, they have officially taken over BAR by buying out BAT.

So from 2006, its no more BAR-Honda, but simply Honda. And that must strike fear in the other teams on the grid. Honda has dominated almost every type of sport they fully back.

So, would it be fair to say that 2007 would be Honda's year back at the top?

I dount Honda would be able to get to the top easily! They have real tough competition! Mclaren, Ferrari, Renault, BMW and Toyota are really going to rule in 2006. Plus there will be no Minardis!

And Since takuma is still going to be there we can expect Safety car on the run!

The only company in the world where the engineers word counts more than the bean counters. Just one of the reasons why I am a huge fan of Hondas.

I am sure that the pressure is even more since Toyota entered the sport.

Taku has been offered a ride on a new Honda 'B' team that the company plans to offer engines to next year, NOT on the BAR-turned-Honda Official team.

I think Honda's got far too much sense to let Taku crash its own cars - that punishment is reserved for those who buy engines from them.

Go Honda!!!

Thats a great news, now we have another manufacturer owned team and this shows how serious Honda is about F1. Iam sure now the team will be much better than it was as BAR. I expect tough compitition between Toyota and Honda from now on and both will be among the front runners with Ferrari, Mclaren and Renault soon.
