Ralf Schumacher to Renault

The hot news right now is that Ralf Schumacher will leave Williams after the 04' season and will be joining Renault. That leaves 2 seats at Williams and I wonder who he replaces at Renault.

The grapewine also has it that Webber is informally confirmed for williams in 2005. Either ways I think losing Montoya was a huge blow to Williams.

dont think he's going to Renault..
firstly, Alonso has a contract till end 2005.. and with Renault aiming for the championship he isnt going to move..
secondly, Alonso is much better driver,
thirdly, Briatore is Trulli's agent... so he's going to stick on..
if he doesnt race that well, he'l stick on as a No. 2 driver in the team.. like RB to MS, CK to MW.......

but thats not going to happen.. Trulli is AWESOME at qualifying.. and he is going to improve his race performances !

Yes Hatari, but hasnt Flavio himself made it obvious at times that he would be willing to let go of Alonso for a good premium.

It does seem foolish since he is leading the Renault charge right now, but I had read something on these lines in itv-f1

Star Sports say that the rumour in the grapevine is that he's going to Toyota next year. Can anyone confirm reading the same or hearing the same somewhere else too??

Yeah Revv Steve Slater mentioned a Toyota move for Ralf but the websites had other stories linking him to Renault. Lets just wait and watch and see what happens

yeah.. if not williams.. he'l go to Toyota..
( they have the money to spend, cud do with a driver who's just been in a top team, and mike gascoyne WILL improve the toyota cars.. that is a reason as well..)

Frank williams doesnt bow down to high salary demands made by his drivers.. esp. when they'v won a WDC in his car.. e.g hill.. JV..etc.

but ralf wud be stupid to leave williams.. he needs to do better than montoya ( which i dont think he'l manage ) on a regular basis.. his contract comes up for review mid season..
